These are the thoughts I have:

Baby needs to be evaluated for tongue-tie, including posterior
tongue-tie
(can this babe reach the roof of his mouth with his tongue?) by someone
who
knows what he is looking at. One much more often sees a tongue-tie with
a
high palate. Baby needs to see a cranio-sacral therapist right away--the
high palate and traumatic birth are clear indicators that babe needs
this
therapy. Have mom try the sns under the nipple shield, so baby doesn't
have
to work at it. Have mom eat a very nutrient-dense diet. Try vitex
tincture--2 droppersful first thing in the morning for at least 2 weeks
(unless she sees a drop in supply).
