I have a mom who suffered through pregnancy with increasingly painful
Plantar Faciaitis (sp?).
She has been told by her primary (who seems to be a BF advocate) that she
can have cortisone shots which are extremely painful.
She says years ago she received ultrasound cortisone treatment therapy
where the physical therapist applied cortisone to her heels with an
ultrasound device.
Any info on contraindications with either of these procedures?
Her son is 6 weeks old.

Thanks
