I know 2 women complaining of severe hair loss after birth and while
breastfeeding. I asked the local IBCLC and she suggested a zinc
deficiency. No references though sorry. Do many of you have contact with
the Lactation Resource Centre in Australia. If you are a member they can
do searches for you for articles and case studies. I have found them
very helpful.
