I had a most pleasant surprise in my mailbox on Friday.

The April issue of "Pediatrics in Review" (Publication of PREP-Pediatrics
Review and Education Program, part of the CME program for the American
Academy of Pediatrics) has part one of a two part Breastfeeding update.

The article Breastfeeding Update I: Immunology , Nutrition and Advocacy is by
Wendelin Susser MS MD (Director UCLA Breastfeeding Resource Program at the
UCLA Center for Healthier Children Families and Communities, School of Public
Health, Los Angeles CA) and Nancy G. Powers MD (Medical Director, Lactation
Services, Associates in Neonatology ,PA, Columblia Wesley Medical Center,
Wichita,KS and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics, University of
Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita.

Pediatrics in Review is WIDELY read by pediatricians in the US. It is a
primary source of review information. The article is well written and has
PRACTICAL information. I cannot wait for part 2.
