 it appears that pluggs are caused by "thick" milk that can not move through
the ducts... this is why we use heat to soften them... many years ago I read
a piece by a chicago physician who belives that often in cases of repeated
plugs, a potemtial culpric is the lact of intersticial fluid.... in america (
I don't know if this is true in other countries) we are so weight consious
that we reduce salt intake to nil so that we will not retain fluid and be (
g/d forbid) heavy. what he belives happens is that we are in a constant state
of dehyration and so the necessary fluid is not there...

   make sense?
