As a woman's supply decreases it naturally tends to be higher in sodium 
content, which is what causes the salty flavor.  It does encourge weaning in my 
opinion. But if the supply hasn't decreased all that much, there would be less 
salty flavor. Besides, some people like their food saltier than others :). This 
is totally a 'guestimate on my part.
