Not sure where the controversy is when the AAP has this as  approved for breastfeeding in their literature!  I have made copies on this info along with Hale's many times through the years.  We rarely have a "mix up" with this anymore.  And the nurses now have been told to consult us if they aren't sure rather than assuming and we will contact the Doctor is there is an issue.
