A while ago there was some discussion which included "nipple
fissures" as a result of damaged nipples. I have looked in the
archives but found nothing. I am trying to find out something about
nipple fissures. I have a Mum who had really badly bleeding and
damaged nipples and now, 4 weeks later has a small central fissure in
one nipple, causing her pain, bearable during feeds. The baby
appears well attached and is thriving, I am sure that I read
somewhere that if there is that fissure, the baby is actually not
well attached, can anyone help??
