While "supports breastfeeding" MIGHT be nice on those managed health care
phone lines, I feel that is a bit like asking the doctor if he/she  beats
his/her spouse!  Most are not going to answer except in the way expected.
Asking WHEN he/she beat the spouse usually gets more accurate information.

The last time I tried to use one of those services, I got so LITTLE
relevant information (mostly it is just hours open, is the practice taking
new patients, that sort of thing).

To the point on this issue (lactation) would be asking HOW MANY mothers in
the doctor's practice are breastfeeding post delivery, at 6 months and
again at 1 year?  This could be provided in a percentage.  Now THAT
information would say a lot more.  So also would the doc being able to
indicate if they have a "specializztion in lactation/breastfeeding" and/or
IBLCE-certified!

Anyone else have thoughts about this???
