Hello group,

I am interested in networking with IBCLC's who work in a pediatrician's office. I'm specifically interested in your role there, billing and charges, etc., as well as the patient volume that you see, and how the need was identified to have an IBCLC.

Also, is there anyone who is employed as an IBCLC by a hospital but sees patients in a physician's office setting? Several of our pediatricians have indicated that they would like to have their patients seen in their office by the hospital-based IBCLC, rather than referring mothers back to the hospital. Does anyone practice in a similar setting?

Feel free to respond to the list or to my email address at [log in to unmask]

Thank you,
Starla Spade RNC IBCLC
