I belive we need to be careful here, both if the mother is very young and
if she is ... (must we use the "O" word?).

If a mother, however youthful is physiologically able to sustain a
pregnancy, why should we question her ability to make milk. During her
pregnancy that process begins, as it does with most all women.  We need to
be careful not to fall into the trap of so many other health professionals
---i.e., if we can't see it being done, it hasn't happened.
