I have always wondered about hand expression in place of using a machine, I thought that I had read that a machine is appropriate in critical care settings, and I wonder how long moms really will hand express for, are babies supplemented, are there great BF stats in these places? I've only met a few moms who would really embrace it as part of their bf journey here in the US. If we share more about the convenience factor of bf and hand expression, will women be willing to try more often?
