Has this mom explored nutritional aspects of her condition (not that 
menopause is a condition--but such premature menopause certainly is not 
normal)? It also seems odd to me that she would be concerned about 
"scintific proof" of treatment, when there is no proof that HRT is safe 
for breastfeeding and we know it is not safe for women's bodies ar all. 
 From my research, I am pretty convinced that homronal imbalancesare 
related to inflammation in the body. To restore hormonal balance, you 
need to treat the inflammation and one of the causes of inflammation is 
a diet that is wrong for the body. This mom would do well to work with 
a naturopath or other doc who actually understands nutrition. 
Homeopathy is completely safe for anyone, inlcuding infants and 
pregnant and lactating women. I also agree that acupuncture would be 
beneficial. I would also suggest she look into bodywork, especially 
Mayan Abdominal Massage.
