Thanks to all who have posted regarding a prescription for Lidocaine for
sore nipples.  On many levels, this treatment was inappropriate.

Update - I approached the midwife about her written order and was told
she wouldn't discuss it then but would get back to me.  I will pursue
the topic - especially if she continues to write prescriptions for it.  

I'll keep you posted.
