even walnuts, rapeseeds, beans and peas and 'too' high in omega six's if
compared to what is generally considered an 'optimal' ratio. the ratio
seems to be very important, not just the total amount of omega three's
consumed....

Fatty fish such as salmon, tuna (albacore and bluefin), trout, herring,
mackerel, sardines>>

unfortunately though, many of the same fish (tuna and mackerel) tend to
be *extremely* high in mercury.....I've read recommendations that
pregnant and nursing women should eat *zero* of these fish, to up to one
serving per week.....and to get enough dha, you'd have to be eating a
serving per *day*.

that's why I'm a big fan of supplementing (everyones diet, not just pg
or nursing moms) with these efa's...
