When people ask you if you have current research on ________ and
breastfeeding, you can always refer them to the LactNet Archives, or you can
do a search of the archives for them and find the information that way,
quickly. LactNet has been in existence now since the spring of 1996?? And
there is a wealth of information available at your fingertips. Requests for
searches go to the listserv address, and the computer there answers in just
a few minutes. Every digest begins with commands about how to get the
information on doing a search -- it's just below the table of contents.

It's too bad that some health care professionals want someone else to do
their work for them, tracking down resources, but I know many of us are
willing to go this extra step and make it easy for them to learn.

Thanks and a deep curtsy/bow to the wonderful Kathleens who began LactNet!
