Stridor (the high pitched noise during breathing) can occur whenever
there is narrowing of the airway, or if the vocal folds are trying to
snap closed in response to fluid entering the larynx during a poorly
coordinated swallow. If the stridor is associated with signs of
excessive work of breathing (retractions of the chest, flaring nostrils,
etc), it's likely to be structural weakness in the airway.
Laryngomalacia is the most common, tracheomalacia next most common.
These babies have a lot of difficulty coordinating swallowing and
breathing.

Using a slower flow bottle (like the Playtex Drop ins bottle with a
NaturaLatch nipple) might make it easier for this baby, particularly if
the baby is laid on mom's lap (sidelying) or sat up for feeding. Holding
the bottle so the nipple is only half full of milk will also help slow
the flow to what the baby can handle. Baby might be able to breastfeed
better in upright or prone positions. There's lots of info in Supporting
Sucking Skills about all this.

I tend to distrust advertising. Caveat emptor and all that.
