The other day a mother asked if tandem nursing would increase her 15 day´s old baby´s risk of developing cavities due to the early exposure to bacteria from his 3 years old brother.   She is not thinking about weaning either of them but was just curious.  I must admit I have never given it a thought.  Any ideas? Experiences? Studies about it?
