Hi, Lactnetters.
Just an update on the "jaw popping" baby I saw just over a week ago. Had
tried to call parents several times and got the answering machine. They
called me today to say baby is doing better at breastfeeding. They chose not
to pursue the chiropracter route, but at least they had the info (thanks,
all who replied, especially Barbara, Darcy and Brenda!)
It sounds like Mom is doing better, too. Still using warm soaks after
feeding sometimes, but sounds very positive. And baby gained 15 ounces this
past week! That made Mom feel very good about breastfeeding. I guess
"tincture of time" will play a part in this situation, too.
Thanks again, all. It's great to be a part of this particular circle of
friends and colleagues. :-)
