Good letter, but too long.  Newspapers like pithy, to the point letters.
Space is money.  They would rather sell the space than give you a forum.
If they print it, it will likely be cut considerably.  You have to think
that they may cut what you want in, so it is better you cut first so
that the choice is yours.

By the way, Dr. Nesbitt's writing about the "dirty nipple" says a lot
about him, doesn't it?
