I heard from a colleague who had been ordered by the health visitor
to see the doctor about her 5th centile (and energetically healthy)
breastfed baby. The doctor held up the chart, and said to her 'the
problem is, Mrs X, that we are looking for a normal weight, and your
baby is consistently way below normal.'

The colleague asked what the doc would define as normal.

Guess what?

The doctor pointed to the 50th centile.
