Toxicity is not simply in the substance, but in the dose as well.

 

Sandra Steingraber Phd said it well that scientists know toxicity is both
dose and timing.  

 

So regarding Finland's high childhood rate of diabetes and cow's milk
exposure:  

Pregnant mothers both avoiding dairy and definitely breastfeeding and
pumping breastmilk to avoid giving any formulas (special or not) would
change outcomes the most.  I'm guessing that difference may be statistically
more significant than their small 2000+ small study.  If this early
intervention reduced the diabetes risk factors for their child, most mothers
given the choice would elect to do it.
