Breastfeeding Rights and Wrongs

Partial quote:
"The combination of short maternity leave, long work hours, and inability to pump milk make hospital life incredibly unfriendly for breastfeeding physicians. This situation leaves them with the choice of working vs. breastfeeding despite their desire to do both. Choosing work and artificial milk might cause them feelings of guilt about their own perceived inadequacy as mothers, which they might project onto patients who they see struggling with breastfeeding. This dynamic could contribute to the poor counseling and practices that maintain the status quo of insufficient breastfeeding that is common in the United States."
