Why isn't the mother in the room with the baby, holding his hand and
crooning to him and giving him her face to look at -- and therefore able to
pick him up and nurse him within seconds (literally) of the circumcision
being finished??  This is what I did with my son -- and if I were to have
any more, I would not have them circumcized at all, but that's another story
and not for Lactnet.
