Hi all,

I just got a call from Carole Peterson letting me know that her mother died
suddenly last night. She had been ill, but the doctors and family did not
expect this to happen. I know that many of you know Carole from her past
involvement as ILCA's conference planner. I thought you would want to know
that she is going through a difficult time. Please keep her and her family in
your thoughts and prayers.

I hope this is not an inappropriate forum for such a post. Wtih the
convenience of e-mail, it is now possible to get word to people so much more
widely. It is difficult to get word individually to everyone who would want
to know.
