I have been visiting infants at home for 15 plus years.  In my experience
infant acne is so common as to be called just that.  It comes anytime in the
first few weeks, is transient and goes away on its own.  I think that any
interventions that seem to help are most likely coincidental.  I would say
that infant feeding has nothing whatsoever to do with the appearance or
disappearance of this acne.
I have never seen this go on to be a problem later in infancy.
