I received the following message from a California BF listserve. Not
firsthand info, but a step in the right direction if accurate!

FYI:

JACHO was at a large teaching hospital here in LA this week. They looked at
the formula and formula DC bags and told them that unless they keep track of
the lot numbers and have a way to contact the parents if there is a formula
recall, then they cannot give out the formula. Now, I knew that the FDA had
said this about 2 years ago, but this is the first time I heard that JACHO
is enforcing it. WOW. Anyone else had this experience?
