Lactnetters,
I have to admit I don't think I really have mastered the fine art of cup
feeding. At my hosp, it really is not done. But I still try using the
little plastic medicine cup. Could this be the problem? It just doesn't
seem to work. When I used this with my own dtr, same cup, it didn't work
well. So I did/do finger feeding. At our hosp we can't get periodontal
syringes. Often a Tb syringe or 5 - 10 cc syringe is used. Believe me I
have heard, seen, read all the instructions on cup feeding - any
suggestions for improving?
