So good to see Valerie weighing in with her usual marvelous reminders and 
revelations as to motives in research!  If you look at the home page for 
Dionex <<http://www1.dionex.com/en-us/index.html>> you will find a big promo 
for perchlorate testing.  You can even register for a Web workshop on EPA 
methods of perchlorate testing.  Hum, I wonder if Dionex might benefit from 
folks using their ion chromotography to analyze "trace perchlorate in 
drinking water."
