Following all this with much interest. Personally, I feel
better/more confident after I've passed the Exam again, than I do
after having done the CERPS in the intervening years. Somehow I see
studying for and sitting the Exam as much more active than passively
and deliciously sitting in conferences listening to lovely
speakers.... almost as if the Exam tests me, whereas the CERPS
don't. The fact of a recent pass is quite empowering, I find ....

However, Jean mentions, "...hoping to do better in 2016 if I'm still
around and able and can meet future qualification requirements". I
had a look at the IBLCE site the other day, and while the
requirements for new candidates would have been totally undo-able for
someone of my background (former LLLL who studied really, really hard
in Zimbabwe for the 1990 Exam ...) I didn't see anything about
"requirements" for existing IBCLCs who re-sit the Exam, which might
be me in 2015 - have I missed something?
