RE: Surgeon General
I know I am going to get into trouble for bringing
politics into Lactnet, but that has already been allowed
by publishing the letters regarding who should be selected
as Surgeon General (eg, Dr. Labbok).
All I want to say is that if Lactnetters are going to
use Lactnet as a sounding board for political choices,
then be upfront and fair and present the candidates position
on other issues important to the position such as abortion
and contraception.  Please be sensitive to those of us that
consider these issues of greater importance than just
breastfeeding.  The world revolves around more than just
breastfeeding.
