Syntocinon has been discontinued but Pitocin is still available.  In my
opinion it should be only a short-term assist.  The mother should do all
the recommended things to promote let-down while using it, and hopefully
these let-down promoting activities will continue to be effective for her
after discontinuing the Pitocin.
