Actually, I own Lactnet through a shell corporation in the Bahamas.

Seriously, I have always had a fondness for ALL breast pump companies because
it is pretty hard to find any other business which has an ethical AND a
financial stake in getting more breast milk from more mothers into more
babies.

Medela sponsored my speaking engagements and paid for airline tickets when I
spoke at LLL area conferences for a couple years and I loved them. Elena
Medo and White River sent me to a WIC conference and to a pediatrics meeting
to try to convince more doctors to make breast pumps available in their
offices. Loved her. Ameda Egnell did . . . something for me, I've
forgotten what and I've also forgotten whether or not I really liked their
ideas ten years ago, or so.

I realize that any involvement with business can be tricky, but I have had
uniformly good experience working with and for pump companies. I wish they'd
cooperate a little more with each other.
