Subject: Re: manuka honey

"16 plus active 12 or 5 plus."  This was the text from my client attempting to purchase Manuka Honey. Yes I know about it and use it too, but I haven't seen 3 different strengths. 16 plus active,12 or 5 plus. Does anyone know what those designations mean and what should be used on the breast?

I believe the number indicates the amount of manuka (hive closer to the flowers, but I think there is some method of testing).  Higher numbers are better.  So, she should get the 16.
