Hi Gretchen!!!

Even though we don't have a NICU, anytime we have a baby in SCN who's mom is
going home without the baby and says she has a used pump, PIS, Purely Yours,
Evenflo,whatever, I explain to them about the hygiene and company
recommendations but also  what the different pumps are designed to do and
what she needs for that particular baby. I find as pumps go, the moms have
no idea about what is what.  At least then, they can make a good decision.
I had one mom who came in with her sister's PIS and wanted new parts. When
we unpacked it, there was the mold.  I had never seen anything like it.
Suffice it to say, she bought her own pump.
