Christine,

I love the Evert-It. It requires only one hand, so mom can hold her baby and be ready to feed while using it. Also, it is super easy to maintain suction at the best level to keep the nipple drawn out. With a pump, sometimes it's hard to hold suction and keep the nipple erect...not so with this tool. When it first came out, I used with with moms who had previously used a pump for the same purpose with earlier babies; all of the moms I work with loved it and preferred it. My two cents. :)
