Geez, I just tried to find the article again using the link I'd posted and
got another page altogether.  :-(

It was a copy of a Reuters news release citing new research which indicates
that a metabolite of casein may contribute to changes in a child's brain that
can be a root cause of autism, causing disassociative behavior.  The
inability to harmlessly metabolize the protein is, they theorize, a genetic
problem.

I was trying to conserve bandwidth, but now I'm really wishing I'd cut and
pasted the whole article.  :-(
