Hey all,

I am so late with this response.  I have FINALLY watched the BF Chicago Hope
Episode and was so upset, as are all of you all.  I was so impressed, however
with the local news here on the coast after the episode, directly after.  They
showed the positive sides of breastfeeding and told that the show was an
inadequate form of information and women interested in breastfeeding should
stay tuned for more info.  They did about a 15 minute segment and showed moms
breastfeeding and sharing their experiences.  They gave out phone numbers for
lactation consultants and for prenatal moms considering breastfeeding to
please call them for more information.  I am glad that something positive came
on after this horrific episode of what I USED to think was a neat show.  All
along the coast moms who may have watched did get some form of encouragement
afterwards.  I have written a letter to the TV station and told them how
wonderful that segment was and to please reshow this in a few weeks if
possible.  And I did write to CBS and throw a fit about that show.  I wanted
to tell you all this about our local news, they did good!!  I was impressed
with them.
