Hi,
Hope you can give me some advice.....
A mom was on 5 weeks of Morphine because of hydronephrosis. Just delivered
and is three days postpartum, still on Morphine. Tomorrow she is having
surgery and will probably be on morphine afterwards until her pain subsides.
Baby is having signs of withdrawal. She's having a tough time getting him
calm enough to breastfeed.

How much Morphine is too much? She has been pumping since the baby is
too jittery to nurse. Is it okay to give the baby her pumped milk and/or
to breastfeed?

Thanks for any advice you can give me.
