wean. Your second, babysitter pressure, unfortunately reminded
me of this horror story that went around Beer Sheva years ago.
A woman was sitting on the bus behind two other women. The two
women were child care givers (actually, babysitters). One was
telling the other of a really nifty way she discovered of
quieting a crying, fussy baby. You took him into the kitchen and
turned on the gas stove....... The woman who eavesdropped RAN to
her neighbor to tell her what was being done to her baby. The
story was all over the city, and no, I don't know what happened
in the end (wish I did). Lordy, isn't that AWFUL???? Judy Knopf
