At the risk of discussing an "n" of one -- my daughter of the constant UTI's
(and yes, she's done everything EXCEPT homeopathy which I'm strongly pushing)
finds that the only thing that works at all is Pyridium for the pain.
Advil/Motrin, Tylenol with Codeine even -- nothing touches it except
Pyridium. And she has the UTI's about every 4 to 6 weeks and has for many
years. She tries to not take the Pyridium unless it is excruciating pain,
and then gets immediate relief.

So, if it doesn't hurt the baby, and offers her relief -- go for it.
