I have never heard anything to the effect that bf decreases uterine tone or
in any way contributes to a slack uterus, etc. I am a bit surprised that
someone would abruptly wean a baby on the advice of one person. I would
certainly be curious to know where the physician got his information re:
this connection.  I have politely conferred with physicians in the past ,
asking them to share their references with me for my own edification.

It is too bad for this particular mother and 2 year old.

Does anyone else have any info on this that I am unaware of?
