Briggs, Freeman & Yaffe (2005) say that Levaquin  is probably compatible 
with breastfeeding, altho there isn't any data (as of 2004).  When it was 
first marketed it was a no-no, but since it is similar to Ofloxacin and 
ciprofloxin, it should be OK.

Hale (2006)  says it should be OK and gives it an L3 (moderately safe.)

So she probably didn't need to pump & dump at all :-(  Pat in SNJ
