Hi,

 

I may be wrong - but I don't believe it is illegal to use domperidone here
in the US.  It is difficult to get a hold of.true - and compounding
pharmacies have been told (I believe) by the FDA that they shouldn't be
compounding it, but it is not illegal.  

 

I have several moms using the lactation protocol who are also using
domperidone.  They are getting it from various sources.  One mom was given a
prescription from her Dr. and had it compounded in a nearby town.  

 

If mom has breastfed for a long length of time (twice) then she may be just
fine inducing another supply.  I recommend the Motherlove Herbal combination
