Jeanette, is this problem of plugged ducts from 'wearing' a breast pump not something that should be reported to whatever authority is in charge of what kinds of products are sold to women for the purpose of expressing milk?  I suppose the manufacturer might be interested as well, and I would encourage the owners of the pumps to complain to whoever sold them the things.
