Lactnetters, as per my earlier post and for janets requuest will be glad to
hook up lc's in poor, underserved areas, or those who are in poverty to
find a sponsor, form a goupr or other person. will also go out and try to
find some legal stuff about this.
I am Proud to say that MID- South lactation Consultant Association- to which
I belong sponsored a gal for several years until she called and said I am
ready to walk on my own and thanks for the help. We are considering
sponsoring another membership, our grtoup prefers to go to underserved
countries, but the ILCA membership is good.

Also affiliates- are you doing a booth at a breastfeeding conference in your
area? Usually non-profits get a discount on the display fees; hw about
letting one of you members who is having financial touble pay the fee set
up the booth and enjoy the conference too.
You get quality representation, can gain new members, and expand your
networking possibilities. the person can report to the next meeting how
things went, and how many members were gained. Let me know.
