Barbara, I second your note. Andrea, please do keep posting, keeping in
mind that we, as lactation professionals, often do tend towards strong
words and emotions about formula, because as Barbara says, we are often
dismissed in our efforts to support mothers in breastfeeding. Lactnet is
our forrum for professional venting and discussion...so please allow us that.

Breastfeeding is not supported by medical professionals in many instances,
and by our culture in general, and sometimes, it gets very lonely trying to
help all who ask, (with one hand tied behind our back by cultural attitudes
and multiple obstacles.) Somet days, some of us think of going to do ANY
other job than this one, .... : )

I agree with Barbara...mothers like you are heroic,.......don't think any
differently. Kathleen
