Thanks Lynn for sending these thoughts.  That's also good advice, so 
ignore things you see from friends/clients on FB that you haven't 
been directly asked about.  Especially clients!  Thank you!

Subject: Ethical question

The line I have drawn for myself is that I ignore anything I see on
facebook.  Not everything from all friends winds up in one's newsfeed, so
the fact that I do not comment does not mean that I saw the photo/story and
approved.  It would drive me crazy if I felt the need to respond to every
birth/breastfeeding/cosleeping error I see on Facebook.  If it's something
serious, I will post my own status personally, on my professional page,
and/or in our local BirthCircle group, so that the correct information is
out there, particularly where cosleeping is concerned.  I only "friend"
people I know in real life, so most of them would see the new information
in one of those three places.
