For anyone interested in psoriasis, the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF)
have an excellent website at http://www.psoriasis.org You can find
descriptions of the treatments available

For an overview of some of the alternative things going on, subscribe to
newsgroup alt.support.skin-diseases.psoriasis for a few days. There tends
to be a lot of discussion re diet/vitamin supplements. One thing comes
across loud and strong. What works for one person will likely not work for
another. The exceptions perhaps being the really powerful treatments e.g.
steroids, methotrexate, but they have a price to pay which may not be
acceptable, bearing in mind that psoriasis is not curable. *Some* people on
the newsgroup are having success with mega doses of vit B12 and folic acid.
