Hi Jaye,
Was there any reason to suspect a retained piece of placental fragments or
membrane? I'd ask about her post partum bleeding. If it was unusually long
or stayed red like a period for longer than what is "normal". YOu never know.
I would also ask more about the reason why she used clomid. Doctors don't
throw clomid at you unless there is a reason your not ovulating, and
apparently she isn't. Could she be borderline PCOS that escaped the radar. I
just had a pt like that. OB swore she didn't have it. Finally after years of
trying to get pregnant she went to an endocronologist who did extensive
studies and low and behold she has it. They do a vaginal ultrasound and look
at the ovaries, or they finally did once she was identified PCOS. Her ovaries
had the classic cycts, looking like dark semicircular dots in her ovaries.
Textbook. Her breasts looked "normal" no obvious hypoplasia. I didn't see any
facial hair. Outwardly, I would not have guessed this. I suspect this is fairly
common. Anyway, just thinking out loud. I mean typing out loud. :)

Good luck to both of you,
robin
